Residential 10-25 Yard Dumpster FAQs

My first tip when getting a dumpster is to always go from the size up from the one you think you need if you haven’t done this much before. When it comes to household clean outs my general rule of thumb is: 10 Yards for smaller garage or single bedroom clean outs with little to no large furniture. 15 Yards for similar jobs with a bit of larger furniture or appliances. 20 Yards for multi bedroom home clean outs, and medium to large amounts of random junk. 25 yards for massive clean outs or whole home clean outs. Swap outs may be necessary.

By default we include 3 or 7 days in our Residential dumpster service. Additional days may be purchased for $20 a day, up to a total of 14 days.

We offer FLAT RATE, no additional disposal charge for our residential dumpsters. That means we include all the necessary weight for your household clean up, BUT that does come with a few rules. We ONLY allow residential debris in this type of dumpster. If you want to dispose of construction materials in addition to our household junk, you should select one of our mixed debris or contractor dumpsters.

The contents of the bin must be “water level” with the top of the container. We try to be reasonable about some objects being slightly above, but think of it this way… If your loved ones were driving in the vehicle behind me, how would you want the container loaded? We want to ensure everyone from our drivers to the other people on the road make it home safely.

Almost certainly! The 10, 15, 20 and 25 yard containers are all perfect for a residential home or even the parking space of an apartment complex or office building. They take about the same amount of room as an SUV.

Once completed please call/text us when you’re done. We will plan to pick up the container at some point shortly after completing your service period, but if you communicate your needs before pick up we may be able to accommodate extensions or special requests.
